Where talent goes determines the race for quantum, and the stakes are high. Quantum, as some say, “has the potential to upset the geopolitical balance of power.” Because it does, America must be at the forefront. “Whatever the quantum age looks like, one thing seems certain: it will dawn,” writes GQ ’s Charlie Burton. “The nations that define this century will be there when it does.”
